I think this will be the final turning point for Datuk Seri Anwar Bin Ibrahim to go to PUTRAJAYA. If the election result (it is for sure PKR will win) come out will more than 85 % majority, then BN leadership must accept their loose-ness with Rakyat.

The press statement released by Dato seri Azizah actually will act as a shield to DSAI and if the rumours are true that DSAI will be detained within 48 hours, then Rakyat will mad like hell to the government and Pak Lah as CEO of Malaysia will not be forgiven again by Rakyat. (This we call ‘Cah Keting’ in Kelantanese dialect)

The delay result/action for Liwat Case and the the quiteness of SD case will not hampered PKR de facto since Rakyat will put the blame to the goverment. The theory is very simple, goverment shall settled or executed all cases(Linggam, SD, RPK case, BPR case, etc) before DSAI can be detained again.

But I think before that can be settled, DSAI will walk like a  Maximus did at Colleseum (Gladiator Movie)  in Parlimen’s lobby and maybe at that time  New Horizon or New Malaysia will rise again.

PRESS STATEMENT BY DATO SERI WAN AZIZAH

31 JULY 2008, PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA

After deliberating with my family, the Keadilan party leadership and our partners in the Pakatan Rakyat, I have officially submitted my resignation as Member of Parliament of Permatang Pauh to the Speaker of Parliament YB Tan Sri Datuk Pandikar Amin Bin Hj. Mulia today to make way for my husband, Anwar Ibrahim, to contest as a candidate for Pakatan Rakyat in a by-election as soon
as possible.

This is consistent with our goals towards securing a Parliamentary majority and forming a new government within this year.

This decision is the right decision for Malaysia.

The nation now faces some of the greatest challenges it has encountered since gaining independence. The UMNO-led Barisan Nasional government has mismanaged the economy and steered the nation towards a catastrophe. It has allowed the integrity of the justice system to fall into deeper infamy. It has stroked the flames of racism and driven a wedge of mistrust between Malays, Chinese and Indians, while thoroughly neglecting the needs of the indigenous peoples of Sabah and Sarawak.

Anwar Ibrahim has articulated a vision for Malaysia that has brought hope to the people. He has the experience and intelligence to reinvigorate our economy, and the charisma and integrity to unite the Malaysian people and restore credibility to our institutions of governance. I will continue to serve as president of Parti Keadilan Rakyat and as chairperson of the Yayasan
Aman (Peace Foundation).

I whole-heartedly thank my supporters in Permatang Pauh who have stood by me in the most difficult of times since September 1998 and have shared in the joy of victory we all experienced on March 8th. The future of our nation lies in the dedication and commitment to justice and freedom that I have experienced as your representative in Parliament and I look forward to many more years of serving you with sincerity and with humility.

DATUK SERI WAN AZIZAH WAN ISMAIL
President
Parti Keadilan Rakyat

KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 (Bernama) — Pusrawi Hospital said Wednesday its medical officer Dr Muhamad Osman Abdul Hamid had examined Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan but not for sodomy.

In a statement today, the private hospital also denied that it had issued any official information to any individuals on Mohd Saiful Bukhari’s medical report.

Pusrawi Hospital said Dr Muhamad Osman was a general practitioner at the hospital’s accident and emergency clinic and not a specialist doctor.

According to the statement, Dr Muhamad Osman had advised Mohd Saiful Bukhari to be further examined by a specialist doctor in government hospital.

There had been no further examination on Mohd Saiful Bukhari with respect to the complaint of sodomy, the statement said.

On Tuesday, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim urged the police to drop the investigation against him, claiming that a Pusrawi Hospital medical report had found that Mohd Saiful Bukhari was not sodomised.

Mohd Saiful Bukhari lodge a police report on June 28 at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital police beat base, claiming that Anwar had sodomised him on several occasions, the last one being two days earlier at a condominium in Damansara.

Chelsea made it three wins out of three under Luiz Felipe Scolari with a 2-0 victory over a Malaysia XI on Tuesday. Wins over Guangzhou Pharmaceutical and Chengdu Blades came at a canter, but they were made to work harder to see off a Malaysia XI.

Goals by Nicolas Anelka and Ashley Cole sealed the win, but the Malaysia XI squandered a number of chances. Any thoughts Chelsea had of strolling to victory were snuffed out inside a minute as Amurulhadi Zainal cut in from the right and fired a shot a foot wide of Petr Cech’s goal.

Chelsea played with a real attacking thrust, Shaun Wright-Phillips was an effervescent figure on the flank, and Deco came within a whisker of netting a spectacular opener but his volley direct from a corner was tipped over the bar.

Anelka could well have a key role to play in the new season and he opened the scoring on 26 minutes, collecting a pass from Frank Lampard before slamming a shot across the keeper and into the far corner.

Zainal was a busy figure for the Malaysia XI and he went close to levelling the scores before the break but dragged a shot wide of Cech’s goal.

Ashley Cole was introduced at half time and he made an immediate impact, beating the offside trap and firing home. The Malaysians had a couple of chances just past the hour mark, Zaquan Adha Radzak was denied by the feet of Cech and Zainal fired wide with two team-mates better placed.

Carlo Cudicini replaced Cech midway through the second half and was lucky not to concede in comical circumstances, as he scuffed a clearance straight to a Malaysian striker but he failed to control.

Scolari gave run outs to Andriy Shevchenko and Scott Sinclair as Chelsea continued their winning streak.

Keane Robbie
Robbie Keane admits it is a ‘dream come true’ to join Liverpool and has set his sights on a productive partnership with Fernando Torres. The 28-year-old signed a four-year deal with the Reds on Monday after a fee, which could rise to £20.3million, was agreed with Tottenham. And Keane, who has been allocated Anfield’s famous No.7 shirt, is now looking forward to a successful spell on Merseyside after admitting that he left Tottenham in order to progress his career.

“It is a dream come true,” Keane told Liverpool’s official website. “I have been a massive fan all my life and to be here is overwhelming.

“Liverpool came in for me and it was something I always dreamed about as a kid.

“I am at the stage now where I want to kick on a bit and win a lot of trophies. I believe that Liverpool can do that with the squad of players we have.

“Sometimes in life you don’t get many opportunities to go somewhere you have dreamed of going.

“When an opportunity like this comes along, you have to grab it with both hands.”

Keane has also revealed he has discussed his role at Liverpool with manager Rafa Benitez and the Republic of Ireland international is expecting to play as a second striker to Spanish star Torres.

“I have spoken to him (Benitez) about the situation,” added Keane. “He knows how I play and hopefully I can do a job for him.

“It is up to me to prove that I can stay in the team every week. You don’t just come into a club and expect to walk straight into the team; you have to earn your place and I am looking forward to doing that.

“I see myself as a second striker. I can play off the shoulder, link things up and play in the hole.

“You are always judged on scoring goals as a striker and I have always scored a lot of goals. Hopefully I can continue that here at Liverpool.”

And Keane – who is expected to make his debut against Villarreal on Wednesday, live on Sky Sports 1 – has hailed Torres as the best striker in the world and is hopeful he can strike up a dangerous relationship with the former Atletico Madrid ace.

“He (Torres) has been a revelation since he came to the Premier League,” added Keane.

“Torres is probably the best striker in the world right now. Hopefully we can play a lot of games together and do well.”
