For those who have noticed that Top Story in today The Star Online is a “Kangkung” story quoted by newly-elected deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek. He said this when elaborating on his pledge that he would behave like the party’s number two, adding that he knew his station well.

Dr Chua, a doctor by training, also got the central delegates in stitches when he told them that kangkung (weng chai in Mandarin) was a healthy food provided you did not cook it with too much belacan.

Dr Chua (chua is pronounced as cai or vegetable in Mandarin) and Ong (whose surname is pronounced as weng in Mandarin) saw their supporters using the vegetable tag to project them as the future president and deputy president at the height of the party’s election campaign.

But below is not ordinary “kangkung” story because this story or joke has been so popular during my old time at MRSMPC.

There it goes…

Tipah Makan Kangkung

Dipendekkan cerita esok pagi sewaktu mandi.. (diorang ni mandi kat perigi.. maklumlah rumah kawasan pendalaman. Tipah dah gi mandi dulu dan dia nampak Amran datang.. disebabkan mandi bogel dan malu punye pasal, Tipah terus tarik kangkung yang ade tepi perigi tu untuk tutup die punye ‘barang’.. bila Amran nampak je die pun terus terkejut.. “kompom” barang’ bini aku ade gigi… siap boleh makan kangkung lagi….!!!…

hahahaa… lawak tak ?
