I don’t now whether you’re interested or not in this but a history recorded as Barack Obama was elected as US’s first black president. Obama, the Democratic senator from Illinois sealed his victory by defeating Republican Sen. John McCain. Obama and his running mate, Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware, will take their oaths of office as president and vice president on Jan. 20, 2009. As the 44th president, Obama will move into the Oval Office as leader of a country that is almost certainly in recession, and fighting two long wars, one in Iraq, the other in Afghanistan.

The latest development in US, I hope will give Malaysia new hope for billateral talks to tackle economic slow down and to continue again bi-county trading talks which was turn sour lately (coz of ISA) and yet to be established since Rafidah Aziz as Foreign Trade Minister.
