One of the hot issue a few month’s back is Sabahan Politician complained about Kimanis-Bintulu Gas Pipeline Project. UPKO President raises this issue a few times but ealier this month, Pak Lah has cleared the air by giving his say that the Project will be go on. Today’s NST Exclusive interview with PETRONAS President and CEO is quite good one and hopefully that all Malaysian can take few points highlighted by Tan Sri Dato Seri Mohd Hassan Marican. Anyway, my take away point will be

  • Question: Some Sabah politicians are saying the gas belongs to Sabah and as such it must benefit the state.
  • Answer: I think this is a national resource. (period) … ( it’s a good and ultimate answer, you can refer to PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT ACT 1974 on why I said this)

Yup… Rumahku Syurgaku..

Today is quite a busy day for me… woke-up quite early at 6.00 am eventhough today is Saturday (off day for me). After giggled with  ’Nacho Libre’ at HBO, I’ve  made a quick move to pay Tiles Supplier ( Gone… my 7k) for the items that i’d owed him. For those who didn’t know, I’m currently building my HOME (SWEET HOME). It’s a small single storey bungalow but it’s good enough for me.

After paying Tiles Supplier, i went to few electr. stores to buy ceiling fans and downlights. The damaged; almost RM1k.. Then rushing to have a look at under construction house after a week busy with works. Still no progress (for almost a month now).

At 6.00 pm, went to see the contractor who builds my house and according to him, the tiling works shall be started this week.. hopefully it only take maximum 2 weeks to complete tiling works since i’d planned to move to my new house in this year end as my Wedding Anniversary also at the end of December.

So friends out there, pray for me yer…

P/s : I took few picture of my house and will be uploaded soon

Surprise..surprise..

Prosecution team confirmed that they will not appeal the decision made by the Shah Alam High Court two weeks ago. Deputy public prosecutor Tun Abdul Majid Tun Hamzah, who is leading the prosecution, said in a statement Friday that there would be no appeal because the trial judge had made a finding of fact in acquitting Abdul Razak. Justice Datuk Mohd Zaki Md Yasin acquitted and discharged Abdul Razak, 48, without calling for his defence on Oct 31.

Abdul Razak was alleged to have abetted Chief Insp Azilah Hadri, 32, and Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar, 36, who are charged with murdering Altantuya, 28, in Mukim Bukit Raja between 10pm on Oct 19, 2006, and 1am the following day. The two Special Action Unit operatives are scheduled to enter their defence on Jan 15 next year.

“failure to follow BOMBA requirement”…

Yeah, it was came out and quoted by Pengarah Bomba Negeri Terengganu, Pauzan Ahmad that the failures of Giant Hypermarket to be opened at Mesra Mall, Kemasik is due to the BOMBA requirement which yet to be full-filled. (see this, taken from Malaysiakini)

Ohhh… after so long, that was it… small reason/matter for me compared to the losing by Giant in this one-month period. BUT it’s quite funny due to several reason below :

  • Giant Failed to follow the requirement after established so many stores Malaysia-wide.According to their website, The chain currently comprises of more than 90 Giant hypermarkets and supermarkets in all major towns and suburbs.
  • If the BOMBA problem, then the developer also has to play a part on this and not only the Giant.
  • How can Architect/ID for the project failed to adhere to BOMBA requirement (i believe Suria KLCC or Giant has appointed the good one)
  • From my experience during my uni. day (study UBBL) and dealing with By-Laws, the requirement for such a Big Public Area but with single storey structure are less difficult and i believe the owner will not compromised compared to ‘mati ca’cang’ for not been able to operate in a month period.
  • Giant will not dare to put everyhing in the racks or shelves and ready to be opened anytime if they are yet to fill statutory requirement.
and the above list could be continued if we wanted to think negatively… like how can others can be operated, not Giant, KLCC is such a big developer and will not do this ( to go short-cut by failing to follow requirement) and so on…
So, as one of the Kerteh folks, let hope that this matter would be resolved by all parties for GOOD. InsyaAllah
