Proton Holdings Bhd hari ini mengumumkan pelantikan Datuk Mohd Nadzmi Mohd Salleh sebagai Pengerusinya yang baru berkuat kuasa 1 Januari, 2009. Dalam satu kenyataan, pengeluar kereta nasional itu menyatakan Nadzmi akan menggantikan Datuk Mohd Azlan Hashim yang melepaskan jawatan berkenaan setelah bersama-sama Proton sejak Disember 2004

Another morale booster for PAS and another blow for UMNO…..
Former Petaling Jaya Selatan Umno division chief Kapt (Rtd) Datuk Zahar Hashim, 28 branch leaders and 13 committees have joined PAS. An Umno member for 27 years, Zahar handed his application for the membership in the presence of PAS deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa and Selangor PAS commissioner Datuk Dr Hassan Mohd Ali.
Kapt (Rtd) Datuk Zahar Hashim who have been the first to allege discrepancies in the Eurocopter deal said his first move will be to join the campaign for the Kuala Terengganu by-election to be held on Jan 17.
I know that during this time of the year, everybody are busy packing for long holiday. My year end quites busy with planning + monitoring for my new house which we’re planned to move-in next week. My boss at office in the middle of Annual Leave clearing-up and suppose to report back for duty in next two weeks. So… i’m alone at the office and doing few things which are long due.
So, these the plan for upcoming long weekend:-

Maybe finish-off my new house still my first priority. nothing more except porch lighting and wall lighting at Master Bedroom.

Packing-up things at my current house.

Preparation for my trip to KL /Putrajaya ( bring sekolah angkat kids visit to Putrajaya and KLCC)
Quite a full weekend for me..
On the other notes, in few days time also will be the end of Hijriah Calendar Year. From 1429-H and approaching 1430-H. To all Muslim-HAPPY NEW HIJRIAH YEAR and to all readers, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009. To all who celebrate Christmas, I would like to wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (esp to Omar Chai).
So those out there, do not forget to recite ‘Doa Akhir Tahun’ and ‘Doa Awal Tahun’ when we approaching new Hijriah Year. Below are the notes for you all.

Doa akhir tahun dibaca 3 kali pada akhir waktu Asar atau sebelum masuk waktu Maghrib pada akhir bulan Zulhijjah – Ahad 30 Zulhijjah 1429H bersamaan 28 December 2008. Barangsiapa yang membaca doa akhir tahun ini, maka syaitan akan berkata: “Hampalah kami di sepanjang tahun ini”.
Doa awal tahun dibaca 3 kali selepas Maghrib – Isnin 1 Muharam 1430H/ 29 December 2008). Barangsiapa yang membaca doa awal tahun ini, Insya Allah dirinya akan terpelihara daripada gangguan dan godaan syaitan di sepanjang tahun tersebut.
Barisan Nasional candidate for the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary by-election Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh took his oath as senator for a second term in the Dewan Negara Tuesday. Also sworn in as a senator was Terengganu Wanita Umno vice-chief Fatimah Hamat.
I don’t how the goverment to pay his salary for such a short stint as Senator . This is because his appointment as senator may not be for long as he will have to relinquish the post to contest in the Kuala Terengganu by-election. Nomination day is on Jan 6 and by 5th, he’ll has to step down from the post.
PAS Member of Parliament for Pokok Sena Mahfuz Omar won his defamation suit against Utusan Melayu Berhad and was granted RM120,000 by the High Court here today as damages for libellous words published against him. Judicial Commissioner Mohd Yazid Mustafa, in his decision, held that the words published in the article in the Utusan Malaysia newspaper, headlined “Demonstrasi-Mahfuz isytihar bersama Keadilan” on March 4, 2001, are libellous with the intention to lower Mahfuz’s reputation.
