I miss the earlier news due to busy doing ‘cut and fill’ at my backyard of my new home. After checking few news on this, I feel great and want to salute Turkey PM Mr Tayeb Erdogan for his brave effort to encounter what Perez killing is OK. I knew it when yesterday Mr Erdogan, who has received a hero’s welcome on his return to Istanbul after he stormed out of a debate about Gaza at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Thousands of people turned out in the city to greet Mr Erdogan’s plane.
The Arab people is indeed looking for a leader to unite them. They didn’t see that in their respective leaders who never did anything – silent, like their European counterparts – until two weeks of shelling Gaza when they really started to act. In fact, even those who have been to the United Nations were just blown out and were ignored regarding any effort they want to take – check Israeli foreign minister’s speeches on that.

On most internet sites I read, news agencies that contained comments, most of them were praising Erdogan for his action in Davos last night, even some called him already “the real leader of all Arabs”. Having said that, one can check the reluctance by Amr Mousa, the secretary general of Arab League, who shook hands with Erdogan upon walking away, what would be the situation if Mr. Mousa followed suit? …

Others may also laughing it out with disgust by saying that with such behavior Turkey should never dream of joining the EU because he just walked away (some called the walk away as childish behavior). I don’t see that childish with the fact that the man was not given a chance to talk, second given a time to Israeli prime minister a total time of 25 minutes talking about his “self-defense” is killing more than 1000 Palestenians including children and woman, while others were given only 12 minutes, this unfairness would make any adult jump out of his chair because of rage. One thing for certain, the Turkish prime minister did the right thing, because as I said; it is unfair to slaughter more than 3000 people in cold hands and say self-defense.

After about 3 weeks without Internet is like Heroes without Peter Petrelli. Sebenarnya internet tu ada cuma kat office can’t be like home due to office workload and proxy setting yang ‘mengharukan’ internet surfer. Tapi, finally semua back to normal after my CELCOM Broadband is working after yesterday’s application at MESRA Mall.

The reason why i am lost in this few weeks without Internet was because I moved to my new house three weeks ago. I’ve yet to terminate my streamyx at my old house but getting new feel with Celcom Broadband quite encouraging. I did the speed test and the result as below:-

The result; not OK actually but it’s enough for me since my new home area’s coverage showing the full bars. I did few more testing through Youtube and the FLV movie plays without lagging. I’ve yet to test downloading through Torrent or Limewire but logically after no fuss with Youtube, it shouldn’t be any problem … hopefully.

A touching letter with a strong will to fight against ISRAEL.

—————————————————————-

My very dear friends, those who have been thinking of us, praying for us and acting for us. Bless you all.

You do not know how important your solidarity is and how we value your deep understanding of the truth of our situation and your exposure of the lies that accompany one of the most brutal acts in modern history.

One and a half million Gaza residents living in one of the most crowded areas in the world, have been under siege and blockade for several months, depriving them of the most essential needs and threatening their children with starvation, malnutrition and inadequate medical services. If this is not a war crime, we do not know what is (except that we are not in a state of war but a people under occupation!) To further subjugate the Gaza residents to relentless bombardment from air, sea and land is unprecedented in modern history.

Israel claims that it is defending the security of its people. Is it not high time for the world to realize that Israel is merely defending the spoils of its aggression and the accomplished facts it has been imposing on our people and our land by brute force? Is it not high time for the world to realize that security and peace can never come about by perpetrating injustice by the awsome machinery of war and destruction. Human beings across the ages have given up thier lives and have offered tremendous sacrifices to break the yokes of oppression. The result has always ended with the victory freedom . War machinery has been able to kill bodies, break bones, destroy homes, devastate land , but it has never been able to break the human spirit aspiring for freedom.

We thank you again dear, dear friends and hope that very soon our messages will be to congratulate one another on the truimph of wisdom and compassion over shortsightedness and brutality!

With lots of love
Rima Tarazi
