Yeahh.. Alhamdulillah… finally we, one happy family moved in to my new house on 08.01.2009. Eventhough my earlier prediction is 25.12.2008, one week delay was happened fbecause of me ; lambat drill curtain rail.

Dah masuk rumah baru ni, macam-macam cerita lah… “semua bukan semestinya baru”, I told my wife.. kita akan guna apa yang ada dan slowly build-up the decor and try to beat Eric Leong …  My first week dekat rumah baru ni, tiap-tiap hari kerja overtime ” pasang langsir la, ubah kedudukan perabut la, cuci dirty marked kat lantai la, buat spring cleaning la.. pendek kata semua kena buat la sampai tiap-tiap hari tak cukup tidur.

Lagi satu, phase pertama ni, concentrate dalam rumah je dulu… kat luar tu, tak sentuh apa-apa lagi. Hope this weekend akan mengerakkan hati untuk buat semua tu.. ( hehehe kalau tak sibuk kat Kuala Terengganu By Election la)..

House warming – next time sebab budget tinggal ciput je ni.. and sebab masih tak tahu berapa banyak cost wrot iron security grill yang perlu di bayar.. pada kawan-kawan, harap bersabar la yerr.. begitu juga dengan gambar terbaru.. harap bersabar kerna i left my EOS kat my mum in-law house dan maybe when I get that, I ‘ll snap few photos for all to see

I’ve worked in Putrajaya from 2000 to year 2004 but this is from different view of my Canon 450d. Enjoy..

to be continue….

Finally.. the race is begin. Two pure politicians and one surplus racing to be KT MP by the 17th January 2009.

It will be a three-cornered fight for the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary seat with three candidates having filed their papers on nomination day this morning. They are Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh, PAS candidate Mohd Wahid Endut and independent Azharudin Mamat alias Adam, a 46-year-old businessman. Returning officer Datuk Mat Razali Kassim confirmed the three-cornered fight at about 11.30am. There were four objections but none were accepted. Ballots will be cast on Jan 17.

Wan Ahmad Farid, the former Deputy Home Minister, arrived at the nomination centre at the State Stadium here at about 8.50am, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, Terengganu Mentri Besar Ahmad Said, MCA president Ong Tee Keat, Gerakan chief Dr Koh Tsu Koon, MIC’s S. Subramaniam and other Barisan leaders.

PAS’  Mohd Wahid arrived about 10mins later accompanied by party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and other Pakatan Rakyat leaders. Independent candidate Isma Airfath was expected to file his papers but did not turn up, although another independent Azharuddin decided to. The latter arrived at about 9.30am, but left not soon after. He was heard muttering that he could not file his nomination papers and was seen asking for the whereabouts of his sponsor and seconder. He was then seen re-entering the nomination hall about 10mins later and finally filed his papers. Angkatan Keadilan Insan Malaysia (Akim) vice-president Harun Moahamad arrived at about 9.20am, but pulled out to make way for the PAS candidate.

There are 80,229 voters in the constituency, of whom 2,036 are postal voters. The nomination process started at 9am and closed at 10am. The returning officer is expected to make an official announcement on the candidates by noon. The by-election is being held following the sudden death of Barisan’s Datuk Razali Ismail on Nov 28. The atmosphere at the nomination centre was relatively calm as only the candidates, their proposers and seconders and a group of not more than 150 supporters were allowed in.

Four term Wakaf Mempelam assemblyman and state PAS treasurer  Mohd Abdul Wahid Endot has been chosen by the party take on Barisan Nasional heavyweight Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh in the Kuala Terengganu by-election on Jan 17. Abdul Hadi, who made the announcement at the packed Stadium Negeri in Batu Burok here, said it had been difficult to choose the PAS candidate, saying: “All of the ones we had in mind were highly capable people.”

In the end, he said, he made up his mind after adhering to the “Islamic methods”. Thousands of PAS supporters, gathered at the stadium, broke into thunderous cheers when the announcement was made. Party stalwarts, and leaders from DAP and PKR also attended the event.

Mohd Abdul Wahid, 52, is a four-term assemblyman, Kuala Terengganu PAS chief and state PAS treasurer. He is a Fisheries and Marine Science graduate from the Universiti Putra Malaysia. His name had not even been on political observers’ list speculating about who would be the PAS candidate to face Wan Ahmad in the by-election.

Several names had come up including Batu Burok state assemblyman Dr Syed Azman Ahmad Nawawi, who is also the former Kuala Terengganu MP. Others were state PAS commissioner Datuk Mustafa Ali and his deputy Datuk Wan Muttalib Wan Embong. It is learnt that some 72 PAS members had been tasked with obtaining feedback from the grassroots on whom they felt was the most appropriate candidate. Views had also been sought from non-Malay voters.

Happy New Year everyone.

It’s been minggu yang busy for me this week. Starting with Kenduri Kahwin invitation(s), Balik kampung, bringing ‘sekolah angkat’ kids to annual visit at Putrajaya and KLCC and near-completion of my house really makes me busier yang those YB yang merancang nak berkempen di P 36 ; Kuala Terengganu.

As said before, minggu ni juga mungkin merupakan my ‘last moment’ staying at existing house yang kitorang dah stay for about 4 ++ years. YEAH.. our new house approaching the final touch before the contractor boleh serah kunci. Sewaktu di KL, my phone ringing non-stop bcoz my wife nak tanya few details yang perlu disettlekan before our hijrah..  Kitorang sebenarnya plan nak pindah on our Anniversary date last week or sempena Maal HIjrah, tapi sayangnya tak menjadi kenyataan… anyway tak apa la since new year 2009 hopefully will become our good and prosperous year, InsyaAllah.

Nak masuk rumah baru… banyak benda yang nak kena settle sebenarnya

Termination existing streamyx line also maybe yang  berat sebenarnya.. kena angkut barang boleh upah MOVERS, nak kemas rumah, boleh suruh anak buah buat/tolong… nampaknya terputus hubungan dengan internet la buat sementara ni… For today; maybe pergi tempah curtain rails and do the final check-up on the house.

It’s funny actually sebab you deal with ‘Tukang Kampung’ @ contactor and they start to ajar you (actually taichi tak nak dengar komplen kita) pasal nak buat rumah yang betul sedangkan u dah ada experience buat rumah mungkin lebih 200 kali lebih banyak unit dari mereka. FYI, sebenarnya I have been involved in construction of new houses at Putrajaya (almost 1780 units)  before..

Curtain dan security grills  maybe akan pasang hari sabtu ni.. so after that, we can move-in.

Hopefully everything akan settle before Chinese New Year since I am planning nak buat house warming makan-makan on that long holidays. InsyaAllah and till then see u again..

Note: Banyak sebenarnya nak share gambar ni… tentang visit to KL and of course, my new Al-Baiti (home)
