A good news for Real Madric fans because finally they got what they wanted about 3 years ago after Calderon took over as President of the Club. For me, this transfer will be another blow to Serie A of Italy as their league slumping almost to the lowest of the Big Five leagues in European Football. ( BCL premier league, Primera, Bundesliga, French Ligue and Serie A). It’s now, no more big names in Serie A eventhough Italy is a world champion at the moment. The rumour of Ibrahimovic also making a move outside Italy also will drag them further down.

Reuters has reported that Real Madrid have signed Brazilian midfielder Kaka from AC Milan, the Primera Liga club said on their website (www.realmadrid.com) today. The 27-year-old international has agreed a six-year contract to become the first player to join Real since Florentino Perez returned to the presidency this month. Reports said the transfer fee was around €68 million (RM332.36 million) which would make the transfer the second biggest ever after Zinedine Zidane joined Real from Juventus for around €73 million euros in 2001.

The player is on international duty with Brazil in his home country, but Real Madrid sent officials to Recife and Kaka successfully completed a medical earlier in the day. Reports have said the 2007 world player of the year is set to hold a news conference in the next few hours. The official unveiling in Madrid is likely to take place at the end of the month, after the Confederations Cup in South Africa.
