21 Jun 2008 In: Jokes

Have you ever watch TV program called “Kids say the darndest thing”. I really love that program very much. Below are some of the examples (but this is Malaysia version)

——————————————————————————————

PART I

Cikgu Nasyor: “Woiiii Mat, apa sebab kau berhenti ni hah”

Mat : “Oh Cikgu Nasyor, basikal saya tengah turun bukit Cikgu, sebab tu saya berhenti.Takkan nak kayuh jugak.”

PART II

Waktu sekolah telah tamat. Sebelum keluar kelas, Cikgu Nasyor telah bertanya kpd murid²nya.

Cikgu : Siapa nak masuk/pergi syurga?

Semua murid mengangkat tangan kecuali Mat lalu Cikgu Nasyor pun bertanya,

Cikgu : Mat, kenapa awak tak nak pergi/masuk syurga?

Mat : Mak saya kata lepas habis sekolah, terus balik rumah..jangan pergi mana-mana.

PART III

Cikgu : Mana tepungnya??

Man : Tepung kan ke dalam kek tu…. Cikgu nie tak sekolah ke hape??

PART IV

Cikgu Nasyor : Joe, cuba terangkan apakah tugas akar pokok pisang?

Joe : Untuk mencari makanan, cikgu

Cikgu Nasyor : Bagus! Sekarang giliran Wati pulak. Apakah tugas batang pokok pisang?

Wati : Untuk membawa makanan yang dicari akarnya, cikgu.

Cikgu Nasyor : Bagus! Sekarang giliran Mat pula. Apakah tugas daun pisang?

Mat :untuk membungkus nasi lemak, cikgu…

Cikgu Nasyor : uii… lagi bagus… berdiri atas meja sampai habis kelas..

My favourite team,Germany lived up to their billing as pre-tournament favourites as they booked a place in the Euro 2008 semi-finals with an impressive 3-2 win over Portugal. I knew the Germany will turn the table after reading their old timer ‘Kaiser’ who was criticized their display in two early group game.

Although the Germans qualified for the quarter-finals as runners-up in Group B following defeat by Croatia, the three-time winners were back to their best in Basel as they proved just too good for the Euro 2004 finalists.

Bastian Schweinsteiger opened the scoring in the 22nd minute on his return from suspension, and the Portuguese were left shell-shocked when the Bayern Munich midfielder laid on a second for Miroslav Klose just four minutes later.

Portugal gave themselves hope four minutes before the break through Nuno Gomes, who became just the third man behind Jurgen Klinsmann and Vladimir Smicer to score in three European Championships.

But Michael Ballack restored Germany’s two-goal lead in the 61st minute from another Schweinsteiger free-kick, and although substitute Helder Postiga pulled another one back for Portugal with three minutes left, Germany held on.

Tiger Wood to miss rest of the Season

19 Jun 2008 In: Sports

World No-1 golfer, Tiger Wood will be missed by golf fraternity since he will undergo a knee surgery.

Two days after a grueling U.S. Open that took him five days and 91 holes to win, Woods said Wednesday he will have reconstructive surgery on his left knee to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament, forcing him to miss the rest of the season.. Woods also revealed that he had a double stress fracture in his left tibia, suffered two weeks before the U.S. Open as he tried to prepare for the Memorial.

Woods will miss a major for the first time in his career, the British Open at Royal Birkdale. Coincidentally, it was at Birkdale in 1998 where Nicklaus’ record of consecutive majors played ended at 146. Woods was the only player with a reasonable chance to match that record, but not anymore.

Woods also will miss the PGA Championship, where he was the two-time defending champion. And in September, he will not be part of the Ryder Cup team at Valhalla.

Geek-kO says:Short hiatus would be good since he can spent more quality time with his daughter

I have received few calls from my relatives asking to check their son/daughter application to further study in local Public Universities. Yeah.. some of them got through and some of them are not.

During my time few years back they  depended on Telegram in sending the news to successful candidate and very often the news came very late. That’s the reason why poor people at kampung always lost their cows or buffalos because they didn’t now where to get fund and for them the easiest way is to sell all their belongings. ( but not their dignity).

Now days , the application result can be known in few second using internet or SMS.

So, whoever need to check the result, please click this link.

for matriculation :http://www.moe.gov.my/tayang.php?laman=aplikasi_prauniversiti&unit=utama&bhs=my

Selamat Pengantin Baru

19 Jun 2008 In: Personal Note

We had a nice family gathering last school break to help my uncle did the preparation for his daughter’s wedding in Taman Kepong Baru, Kepong. Our family members are spreading  staying at many different  location and place throughout Peninsular Malaysia, so this is the time we’re waiting for. When I got there  ‘rombongan(s) ‘ from Kelantan already conquered the available house ( and they also shopping ’sakan’ at SOGO) , so I need to find my own place to stay.

My brother took me to 4 bedrooms Apartment in Shah Alam for RM250 per night and for me it’s very reasonable price ( Actually, the apartment belong to MAIS -Majlis Agama Islam Selangor) .  After the Majlis Akad Nikah at Masjid Bandar Menjalara, my mum, sisters and bro joined me at Apartment.

I hope it’s still not to late to wish my cousin Kak Ima and ‘her partner in crime’ Mad .. “SELAMAT PENGANTIN BARU” and may Allah bless you all with happiness and a lot of kids…

Adios…

Coming back home from office on ordinary day exploded with the news from The Star Online and Harakah Daily on the SAPP’s vote of no confidence against PM. Here it is…

______________________________________________________________________________

The STAR : KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) has lost confidence in Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, it said at a press conference here Wednesday.

In the coming sitting of the Parliament session on Monday, its two Members of Parliament will support a vote of no confidence against the Prime Minister, the party said.

Whether its MPs table the vote of no confidence, or whether other MPs will do it, would be determined in due course, it said in a statement.

SAPP’s two MPs are Datuk Eric Enchin Majimbun (P171 Sepanggar) and Datuk Dr Chua Soon Bui (P190 Tawau).

The party also has four state representatives.

The statement was read out by Dr Chua and signed by Majimbun, who was overseas on official duties. He will be back for the Parliament sitting next Monday, June 23.

The statement listed four areas of dissatisfaction with Abdullah’s premiership:

1) That no concrete action had been taken on the issue of illegal immigrants, despite repeated requests by SAPP and other Barisan component parties;

2) That the government had offered no holistic economic solutions to cushion the blow of the sudden hike in fuel prices, which had greatly burdened the people and threatened further hardcore poverty;

3) That not enough attention had been paid to issues raised by the people of Sabah — poor delivery systems, corruption, wastage, lack of transparency and accountability — and that SAPP would have failed in its duty as elected representatives if these issues continued to be ignored; and

4) That the people have lost confidence in Abdullah, and that if he can’t perform, he should step aside and make way for another leader to take over.

Talk had been rife Wednesday morning that SAPP was going to abandon the Barisan Nasional coalition and defect to the Pakatan Rakyat alliance.

The party is running a poll on its blog, asking members of the public whether it should stay on in Barisan, leave the coalition but remain independent, or join Pakatan.

At press time, there were 2,828 votes tallied, with 85% (2,411 votes) asking SAPP to join Pakatan. Only 2% (80 votes) urged it to stay on with Barisan, while the remainder suggested it quit Barisan but remained unaligned.
